Intended to be conversational, creative and collaborative, while supporting the technical aspects with the latest industry tools and standards.

Lighting consultation general outline

  1. Visit Request Consultation page: Or Contact me via email preferably, or by phone if having trouble submitting a request form.
  2. If you are interested in participating in a short lighting survey only, this would also be appreciated.
  3. You will be contacted to further discuss your current lighting situation and areas of concern so we can identify your needs.
  4. You will likely be asked to submit photos of your lighting and provide some specs.
  5. An in-person walk through is an option if Covid safety precautions are observed.
  6. You will be requested to download an app for light meter and flicker reading to provide results and learn how to interpret them yourself or send screen shots if an on-site is not conducted.
  7. A no or low cost solution will be offered upon review of the above data. If you have a budget and are interested in a more sophisticated and robust solutions, I would be happy to coordinate this.

It might be that you need better light bulbs in better places pointing in another direction. Too bright or not bright enough? Too cool or not warm enough or vice versa. Fixtures pointed in the wrong direction…and that wall painted navy blue is is absorbing over 90% of the light…lets talk and find out.

PROCESS BREAKDOWN

LANE A – Market Research via local industry

  1. Circulate general survey to local industry for feedback
  2. Evolve this (work in progress) website for reference
  3. Meeting, follow up with local community industry to understand needs and services offered
  4. Scheduling informational chats and walk throughs/ site visits for info gathering and feedback
  5. Use this information to pair opportunities between B2B and B2C
  6. Promote local businesses and encourage participation

LANE B – Virtual / On-site consultations & conversations with participants

  1. Invite residents & businesses to participate in a situation specific survey
  2. Book virtual / on-site consultations/ chats to identify needs and current lighting layouts
  3. Review and process data and discussion in order to determine solutions
  4. Provide solution based options and assistance to end user in an easy to understand format
  5. Renderings and mock ups via AGi32, Relux etc can be made available in some instances.

FEES

*Fees: At this time, initial and follow up consultations are complimentary. Extended services would be negotiated based on each project requirement.
